RESEARCH TEAMS
Teams of researchers and students will complement the knowledge of the creative leaders by providing in-depth expertise in the 5 challenges during the INDEX: Views Summit: They will undertake “just in time research” and “fact finding” along the process as well as contribute with their know-how and ideas.
The research teams include leading scientists and researchers as well as graduate or post-graduate students from some of the top Danish universities and research institutions, all with a strong interest in engaging in human centred innovation in the 5 areas:

- Professor Per Boelskifte
Per Boelskifte is professor in design at DTU and head of the civil engineer education Design & Innovation. He is a member and vice-chairman of the Danish Design Council and on the board of directors Danish Design Centre. From 1980 to 1995 he received 7 Danish ID-awards, 2 Gute Industriform-awards (1985 og 87) and in 1996 2 European ”Innovation in Design” awards. Per Boelskifte is chairman of the Jury for the Danish Design Awards. - Associate Professor Simon Furbo
member of DTU’s research advisory group for INDEX: Views Summit. He represents the Department of Civil Engineering - BYG-DTU – that conducts research within a well-defined selection of focus areas with key importance to building processes, structures and urban development, including: Building construction, Geo-techniques, Building materials, Building processes, -planning and –management & Building physics and –installations. - Associate professor, PhD Torben Lenau

Tore Kristensen is Associate professor in product development at CBS. He conducts research in product development, design and experience economy and teaches marketing, design in business and research training (PhD education). Tore Kristensen is engaged in several international research and education networks with several European, American and Asian universities.

Jens-Peter Lynov has a PhD in plasma physics from the Technical University of Denmark. He has carried out both experimental and theoretical research in plasma physics and fluid dynamics and has acted as guest researcher at Berkeley and University of New Mexico. During 1994-2002, he was in change of the Danish research contribution to the European program on fusion energy. Since 1999, he has been Head of the Optics and Plasma Research Department. He is an active participant in the regional Musicon Valley collaboration including the Roskilde Festival, several local education institutions and a number of Danish companies in the creative industry.
